This gorgeous grad just got her Masters degree from Southern Methodist University! The SMU campus is such a gem right in the middle of Dallas, and I’m so glad Kina picked it as her graduation photoshoot location! We met at Dallas Hall, the oldest and most iconic building on campus–its Rotunda is even pictured on the SMU seal!
You wouldn’t guess it from the photos we took, but there was a LOT going on behind the scenes. Some guy was flying a drone, another hitting toys with a golf club for his dog to fetch, people were chilling in lawn chairs, others walking around taking pictures, and I’m pretty sure a couple got engaged then popped champagne with some friends! We had to get a little creative to avoid those distractions in the background, but that’s what I’m here for! I guess now I know where to go for the best Saturday night hotspot in DFW 😉
We made sure to take some portraits along the lovely oak-lined Bishop Boulevard–known simply as The Boulevard–where the SMU community gathers during football season for their unique take on tailgating, Boulevarding!
Kina’s sweet boyfriend also joined us, so of course we had to snap some pictures of them together. Aren’t they just the cutest couple?
